About Me
Hi all, my name is Stephen from Sydney, Australia. I have always have had a passion for photography dating back to when I was a kid, owning one of those kid's cameras and running around taking pics, then having the film sent away to get developed. How times have changed!. I am basically self taught. I moved into the digital era, very early on in the piece and have progressed with the times ever since. With the advent of the internet, and with so many helpful tutorials on subjects like camera settings, post production software as well as photographic techniques, they are able to take your photography skills to a whole new level. I have learnt that if you want to get stunning photos, you need to get off that "AUTO" setting and learn how to operate your camera using the manual settings. As much as this may seem a bit daunting, once you grasp the concept of what each of the settings do, you will be able to capture those stunning photos just like the pros do. Once you have an idea of what the different setting do, get out there and Practice, Practice, Practice!! As you go through my photos, you will come across some folders under "HDR Images".. So, what is HDR? HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos allows you to do two things. Firstly, it allows you get better definition within your photos. It allows you to enhance your photos for a richer look for that "WOW" factor. The other thing it allows you to do is to manipulate your photos to get that abstract look. Of course this is done to my liking and so some of you may dislike the look, and that's ok.. I just hope you enjoy the rest of my website.
